Toyota have commissioned their own study, or should we say marketing exercise, to illustrate how driving one of their Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD) passenger cars can reduce stress and improve one’s mood. The attitudes of 30 drivers were compared before and after driving a Toyota hybrid vehicle around Rome, one of Europe’s most congested cities. All marketing hype aside, we can well imagine that we’d also be far more relaxed in a whirlwind of motoring chaos if sat behind the wheel of a silent, economical and CVT transmission equipped car.
