The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is a limited production model inspired by the Jaguar D-Type racing car of the 1950s. 250 examples will be hand-built and powered by Jaguar’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 423 kW and 680 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h is 3.9 seconds and “bespoke carbon-fibre aerodynamic aids” help the car reach an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h. The F-Type Project 7 benefits from a unique suspension tune, carbon ceramic brakes, race-inspired seats and a storable roof. This video gives us more insight into the design of the car and why it is so special.
