You hear manufacturers say it a lot but often the ‘perfect weight distribution’ ideal is just part of their marketing narration. With the fourth generation Mazda MX-5, due in South Africa later this year, the engineers have gone to great lengths to prove that the latest version is perfectly weighted 50:50.
