In honour of the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade super bike, Honda Italy has announced a limited edition Civic Type S.

The Type S is fitted with Honda’s i-CDTi 2.2 litre diesel motor. With roughly 105kw on tap the Type S is not about to set the tarmac alight.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as far as the styling package goes but one can’t help wondering whether the diesel’s bite will match its obvious bark.
