Honda has recently confirmed that it will launch the upcoming Honda Jazz Hybrid at the Paris Auto Show in October. Honda has also released some details of the drivetrain, consisting of a 1.3-litre petrol engine combined with an electric motor.
The Honda Jazz Hybrid will reportedly share many of its foundations with the Honda Insight, including the 1.3-litre powertrain and CVT transmission. The car will also be able to run in full-electric mode, like the Insight, which will be ideal for high traffic situations where little power is needed.
The new model also receives a few cosmetic changes, such as a new headlight design, a new grille and clear tail lights. The car also sports a new set of front and rear bumpers, while inside the dashboard is styled with a single colour tone and blue instrument lighting.
No economy figures are currently available for the Jazz Hybrid, but the car is expected to achieve emissions figures of just over 100 g/km of CO2 and be capable of running on around 3.6 l/100km of fuel.
