Some inside sources at Audi have leaked some component images of the highly-anticipated Audi RS3. The images show what the instrument cluster of the new car will look like, featuring ‘RS3? badging.
It’s expected the all-new Audi RS3 will come equipped with a 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine, a similar engine to the one seen in the Audi TT-RS. Speculations say it should offer around 250 kW of power and 450 Nm of torque. The car will be the perfect rival to the upcoming BMW 1 Series M and the current Volkswagen Golf R.
These latest images to make their way onto the Internet are a sure sign the Audi RS3 is indeed coming and it should be just around the corner now. Reports say the car could be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, 2011.
Judging by the 310 km/h speedo, this new car should be an absolute cracker and a smooth move by Audi as the scene of big, muscular hatches gets hotter and hotter. Reports say the RS3, with its Quattro all-wheel system, should break through the five second barrier during 0 – 100km/h sprints and go on to a limited top speed of 250 km/h.

Nice! However, I am afraid of the S.A. price gouging we could see with this model – R500k+? I guess that is what the Focus RS sold for…when you could get one.
