H&R Volkswagen Jetta VI

Suspension aficionados H&R have gotten their hands on the new Volkswagen Jetta and decided to give it a once-over with some low-key modifications. After the Jetta arrived at H&R’s US headquarters, the first pieces to go were the springs (obviously).

The new Jetta 6 now rides 30 mm lower, thanks to a set of Sport springs that give the sedan a handling edge over the standard car. The next items to go were the wheels, which were replaced with 19-inch O.Z. Superturismo LM wheels (along with TRAK + wheel spacers) to complement the car’s handling and appearance.

Behind the 19-inch wheels are 365 mm cross-drilled Brembo rotors with 4-piston Monobloc calipers that round out a tidy street performance package. There’s also a Vibrant Performance exhaust system as an auditory bonus.

The rest of the cosmetic add-ons – other than the vinyl – are sourced straight from VW and include a lower body kit and spoiler. Unlike many cars at this year’s SEMA show, H&R have delivered a clean, streetable package that should give the latest Jetta an extra injection of fun without killing the warranty or your wallet.
