BMW M5 ‘Concept’ Heading To Shanghai

According to a report by the Dutch publication AutoTelegraaf.nl, BMW will be bringing a concept version of its upcoming M5 model to the Auto Shanghai show in April.

The next-generation M5 (F10 for the sedan, F11 for the wagon) is expected to debut later this year. It will come with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 dialed up to an output of around 441 kW.

As the Chinese market continues to grow rapidly and become one of the most important for premium automakers, more unveilings are taking place at shows in China. We have already reported that BMW will be introducing the next 6-Series Coupe at Auto Shanghai.

The Dutch report also says that BMW will have a 5-Series hybrid on hand at Auto Shanghai too. That model is scheduled to go to market this year and is expected to come with a twin-turbo straight-six 3.0 liter engine producing 306 PS (225 kW) coupled with a 40kW electric motor.
