Nissan has announced a new variant of the 2012 Nissan GT-R, called the Nissan GT-R Egoist. The car focuses on providing extensive individual interior options and a few exterior cosmetic enhancements.
The GT-R Egoist shares a few elements also seen on the GT-R SpecV edition, such as the carbon fibre rear wing and lightweight Rays Engineering alloy wheels. It also gets the same titanium exhaust system, reducing overall weight and providing a crisper engine note.
The main headline for the GT-R Egoist, however, is the interior. There are so many different trimming and colour combinations to choose from, it’s almost like buying a Bentley – in terms of the ordering experience. The 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine remains unchanged and still offers 390 kW of power and 612 Nm of torque, and has clocked a 0 – 100km/h time of just 3.046 seconds.
Pricing for the new model is yet to be announced.
