More than 140 young designers took part in the “Pimp Your Juke” competition, organised by Nissan to define the design of a new Juke Limited Edition. We’d hoped for more notable updates, but perhaps any efforts to add excitement to the Juke are, at this stage, being overshadowed by the very special Nissan Juke GT-R project.
The Juke Limited Edition will initially be available only in Italy and is easily recognisable by the large white stripe running over the bodywork from front to rear, the different side mirror housings and gloss-black 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Nissan Juke Limited Edition is powered by the range-topping 1.6-litre DIG-T petrol engine, which develops 140 kW (190 hp) and 240 Nm of peak torque. This unit provides the car with a 0 – 100 km/h sprint time of 8.4 seconds and a 215 km/h top speed. Only 250 models of this series will be produced.
