Nissan Juke-R Concept Revealed

The Nissan Juke was launched in South Africa earlier this week and we suggested the compact CUV would make a great platform for tuning firms and/or those looking to add a personal touch to their wheels. Well, Nissan has eclipsed all expectations with the release of their Juke-R Concept, which is as hardcore as the Juke will ever get.

What you see above is the first photo of the Nissan Juke-R, a monster in both looks and power, with Nissan’s 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V6 engine from the infamous GT-R nestled under its bonnet. The Juke-R shares the GT-R’s drivetrain, suspension and many other components and, with 358 kW channeled through all four-wheels via the GT-R’s magical all-wheel drive system, the Juke-R will probably accelerate like a bullet from a gun.

Nissan says it will build two examples of the turbocharged all-wheel-drive Juke-R, one in left-hand-drive and one for the right. Fingers crossed then that the bonkers Juke-R makes an appearance in South Africa at some stage.
