Bac Mono Singe-Seat Road-Racer

These are the first live pictures of the brand new single-seat BAC Mono, a trackday toy developed by BAC (Briggs Automotive Company) in the UK. Officially revealed in March the BAC Mono is created by Cheshire-born brothers Neill and Ian Briggs.

At 387 kW/ton, its power to weight ratio surpasses that of the Bugatti Veyron and it can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, 160 km/h in 6.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 272 km/h. Power comes from a 208 kW, normally-aspirated 2.3-litre Cosworth unit, mounted longitudinally and mated to an electronically-controlled, paddle-shift, 6-speed sequential Hewland transmission with limited-slip differential.
