For many supercar manufacturers and tuning companies China has become a very important market over the past few years. The hypercar gathering that took place at Shanghai International Circuit recently is probably the best example of the influx of super- and especially hypercars to China. Its hard to imagine and mention all of the supercars that attended the event at Shanghai’s F1 circuit, but some of our personal favourites are the Pagani Zonda R, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Aston Martin One-77, Ferrari Enzo, Gumpert Apollo S and Koenigsegg Agera.
The Shanghai International Circuit was finished in 2004 in time for the first Chinese F1 Grand Prix. It measures 5.5 kilometers in length and like many other modern F1 tracks its been designed by Hermann Tilke. The Shanghai track features two long straights, one of which allows modern race cars to reach speeds of over 300 km/h.
