Ford will use the 11th Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi for the global preview of an all-new vehicle, providing the first glimpse of another next-generation vehicle for India and other global markets.
Back in September we travelled to Berlin for the unveiling of the Ford Evos concept, where it was announced that we can expect to see the Evos’ design DNA filter into new Ford models over the next five years, with the first example expected to arrive as soon as four months away. January marks that fourth month, making Auto Expo 2012 the stage upon which Ford has chosen to unveil the first production model to feature their new global design language.
This next-generation vehicle will take centre stage on Ford’s roughly 1 400 square metre stand. The new vehicle will be the latest One Ford global product, a vehicle designed to help expand Ford’s footprint in the world’s fastest-growing auto markets, including India. It will be the second of eight products Ford plans to bring to India by mid-decade.
Also on the Ford stand will be the Ford Figo, the All-New Fiesta, the Ford Classic (Ikon) and the Ford Endeavour (Everest).
Auto Expo 2012 runs from January 7-11 in New Delhi and SACarFan will be there to bring you the latest news.
