Audi RS3 Sportback Power Boost By Sportec

Sportec has announced a new tuning kit for Audi’s RS3 Sportback, adding more bark and bite to the hatchback.

The standard RS3 comes with 250 kW from its five-cylinder turbocharged engine. Sportec have added a new stainless steel sport exhaust system and remapped the ECU. Those seemingly minor changes have resulted in a big gain. The engine now makes 300 kW and 550 Nm of torque. Upon request, Sportec can easily dial that up to 368 kW, but they don’t allow that in Switzerland!

To cope with the added power, the RS3 has been fitted with Bilstein coilover suspension with adjustable ride height, lowering the car between 20 and 40 mm, as well as a Mov’It big brake kit.

Visually, apart from the mean black paint job, the only noticable difference over the standard car is the lowered ride height and a set of 20-inch Mono/10 lightweight alloys.

The RS3 has been the focus of a number of tuning firms already, most notably B&B who managed to extract 380 kW from the 5-cylinder turbo’d lump.
