Bentley has released a bunch of new photos of the new V8 Continental GT & GTC ahead of its impending launch. Whilst this launch date is still unconfirmed, the model will have a base price of £123 850 in the UK and €136 000 in Europe.
The new entry level models of the Continental range are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that is 40 percent more fuel efficient compared to the flagship 6.0-litre W12 model. This gives the new V8-powered Continentals a theoretical range of over 800 km on a single tank of fuel. Power output is rated at 373 kW with a peak torque of 660 Nm, affording acceleration of 0 – 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 303 km/h.
Subtle exterior updates separate the V8 models from their bigger W12 brother. Highlights include a glossy black grille with chrome frame and centre bar, a red enamel Bentley ‘B’ badge, as well as a black mesh three-segment front bumper fascia.
