The Citroën DS4 Racing concept has been revealed ahead of its Geneva motor show debut next week.
Citroën has equipped the DS4 Racing concept with some serious muscle. A 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine, developed by Citroën Racing, provides around 195 kW – which would be a record for a Citroën production car. This spectacular performance is accompanied by CO2 emissions of just 155 g/km.
The DS4 Racing is features a revised suspension setup that includes a 35 mm lower ride height, 55 mm wider front track and a 75 mm wider rear track. Braking is managed by four-piston fixed callipers hugging 380 mm discs at the front, sitting behind 19-inch light alloy wheels.
Aerodynamics are enhanced by the air diffuser, front bumper lower spoiler, lower-body belt line and wing extensions and is complimented by matte grey, textured-effect paint work.
Citroen is yet to confirm production of the DS4 Racing, however it is expected to hit European markets some time next year.
