Maserati GranTurismo Sport Announced

The Maserati GrandTurismo Sport has been designed to replace ageing GranTUrismo S and has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Maserati GranTurismo Sport the features a 4.7-litre V8 engine with 338 kW and 520 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission or an optional sequential manual transmission, allowing the coupe to accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 300 km/h.

Besides being more powerful, the Sport features Brembo brakes and has a revised suspension with continuous damping that “makes the car even more reactive and fun to drive.”

In terms of styling, the headlights now have LED accents and the bumpers are aerodynamically-enhanced. At the rear, darkened taillights keep things looking aggressive, while the interior receives a new steering wheel and seats. 21-inch alloy wheels are also included.
