The Germans at MTM have found another Audi to ‘play’ with. This time it’s the unassuming Audi A4 3.0 BiTDI Avant.
In standard trim, the A4 3.0 BiTDi produces 233 kW and 650 Nm of torque, but with the help of an ECU upgrade, MTM have managed to squeeze 284 kW and 780 Nm of torque from the twin-turbochaged V6 diesel. The upgraded performance will set prospective owners back €1 000, while for €100 less, the engine can be had with slightly less power at 272 kW and 760 Nm.
Other upgrade options include a choice of brake kits. The first one comes with 380 mm discs, stainless-steel hoses and 8-piston calipers, which is priced at €4 900. The second option offers massive 405 mm discs at a cost of €6 400. MTM can also install a F-Cantronic ECU for the air suspension (€1 740), which can lower the vehicle by up to 25 mm in front or 20 mm at the back. MTM also provides a selection of 18- or 20-inch wheels.
