From the land of the rising sun and the culture of cute, comes this pink Bentley Mulsanne from tuners Office-K. The fact that the car has been given an shiny new coat of pink, suggests this project was completed for a female owner, or the owner’s female partner.
According to Yasuko Nakamura, president of the Tokyo-based marketing company Boom Planning. “Japanese products are made to be ‘kawaii’ so they are liked by women. In Japan, women hold the spending power. Even for things that women don’t purchase themselves, such as a car, they have a strong say in the final decision.”
While the bright pink paintwork and 24-inch Forgiato Dito wheels are obvious additions to the now playfully aristocratic Mulsanne, Office-K were commissioned to add a few more details too. These include an LED conversion for the license plate and the interior lighting. The standard bi-xenon projector headlamps, within the halo of LED daytime running lights, were replaced with a High Intensity Discharge (HID) kit.
The Bentley Mulsanne is powered by a 6.7-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that outputs 377 kW and 1 020 Nm of torque. With an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the rear-wheel drive Mulsanne is capable of ‘wafting’ from 0 – 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 296 km/h.
