Mazda 6 Estate First Images

Both the new Mazda 6 Sedan and Mazda 6 Estate will be shown at the 2012 Paris Motor Show later this month. The Mazda 6 sedan was already unveiled at the Moscow Motor Show last week, but Mazda has just revealed the first images of the Estate version, seen only in camouflage until now.

Mazda has not released specific details of the Mazda 6 Estate, such as cargo space or dimensions, but these and more questions will be answered in Paris. The Japanese manufacturer has, however, confirmed that both body styles will be available with either a standard- or high-power version of the company’s new SkyActiv 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. Power outputs are 110 kW and 128 kW respectively and the new engine complies with Euro 6 emissions regulations, which will come into effect from September 2014.

All three engines have been confirmed for the European market, but it remains to be seen whether the full range makes it to South Africa.
