While news of tuned versions of BMW’s M cars is a common affair, less so is that of the new 6 Series Gran Coupe. German tuners Hamann have introduced a comprehensive styling program for the sleekest BMW four-dour.
Hamman’s changes are immediately apparent at the front of the Gran Coupe, where a new bumper has been added that sports aggressive air intakes with LED day-time running light clusters, side vents and splitter. The bonnet has been replaced with a lightweight and vented carbon fibre item, while the side skirts also feature a vent towards the rear for improved air flow and rear brake cooling. The back of the Hamann styled Gran Coupe has been given a new spolier, a redesigned bumper with a built-in diffuser and two pairs of twin exhaust pipes.
Hamann have lowered the car by 30 mm and fitted a set of a Hamann’s own ‘Evo Black’ 21-inch wheels, which are wrapped in 255/30 profile rubber in front and wider 295/25 rubber at the rear.
Hamann are able to personalise the car’s interior to individual tastes, but the company starts off by adding branded floor mats, a set of aluminum pedals, Alcantara inserts for the leather upholstery and trim elements in piano black, wood or carbon fibre.
