The first official driving footage of the new, 991 generation, Porsche 911 GT3, has been revealed ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. A summary of the changes to the newest GT3 begins with the car’s design. A new front end improves the aerodynamics of the centre radiator, while the fixed rear wing provides sufficient downforce.
The chassis of the new 911 GT3 is 30 mm lower than the 911 Carrera. This means it offers extraordinary agility and even more stable handling, particularly when cornering.
The 3.8-litre flat-six engine produces 350 kW at 8 250 r/min and is mated exclusively to a 7-speed PDK double-clutch transmission. Zero to 100 km/h comes up in 3.5 seconds and the top speed is 315 km/h.
Optional Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB) are 50% lighter than standard and provide better road holding, increased driving and rolling comfort, as well as greater agility thanks to less inertia.
