The Porsche Panamera S V8 race car that was under development in 2010, was built to compete in the Superstars International Series. It’s a rare thing. There are only two Panamera race cars on the planet to the best of our knowledge, both of which are campaigned in the same series by team Petri Corse.

For 2013 the Panameras are competing for top honours on a grid filled with cars such as the Chevrolet Lumina CR8, BMW 550i (E60), Jaguar XF, Maserati Quattroporte, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, Chrysler 300C SRT8, Lexus ISF and Audi RS5.
