For the people who can afford such things, there is no price that can be put on exclusivity, and some people need the added exclusivity of an Italian stallion like no other. Taking the colossal Ferrari F12 Berlinetta as their starting point, Revozport has introduced a rather simple and elegant styling program for the front-engined, rear drive, Italian supercar.
Referred to as the RZF-12 by the Hong Kong-based tuning company, the model features a range of aesthetic additions that include a carbon front splitter ($2 100, or R18 950), carbon fibre side skirts ($2 900, or R23 200) and a carbon fibre rear spoiler ($1 300, or R10 400).
In addition to the obvious carbon parts, Revozport also supply the F12 with a subtle carbon fibre fog light cover ($380, or R3 050) and a carbon fibre rear diffuser to match the rear spoiler for an additional ($2 900, or R23 200). All in all, the individual pieces amount to around R80 000 if tallied up.
Thankfully the additions are not only as deep as the carbon-adorned skin. Customers can also order a TITAV titanium exhaust system ($7 490, or R59 950) to take the already god-like exhaust note from the V12 engine, into another stratosphere.
Revozport’s best efforts with their carbon fibre machinery are subtle and non-offensive, sure; but if we’re honest this kit hardly makes any difference in the way the V12-powered Ferrari looks at all. The company explains that it wanted to use a discreet approach in order not to ruin the styling cues of the car. A noble approach, but we think they could’ve applied a little more creativity.
