Video: Spectacular SS1 Of The 2013 Rally Italia Sardegna

We were going to show a video of David Higgins (Subaru Rally Team USA) out-psyching Ken Block (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) at the “Rally in the 100 Acre Wood”, where Ken has reigned supreme for the last 6 times he’s entered.

Then we stumbled upon this video of Mikko Hirvonen performing heroics in his Citroen DS3 WRC on Day 1 of the 2013 Rally Italia Sardegna, which we though was a whole lot more exciting. Despite the spectacular speeds and display of skill, Hirvonen was still 5.3 seconds slower through SS1 than Sebastien Ogier driving the Volkswagen Polo R WRC.
