The 2013 Nissan R35 GT-R produces 404 kW and 628 Nm of torque when it leaves the factory. Modifications are common place with GT-R owners, but in this video we see two lightly tuned cars go head-to-head at the Texas Invitational drag meeting.
The Texas Invitational traditionally runs a rolling-start drag racing format, in an effort to ‘go easy’ on the mechanical components of the some of the most highly-modified supercars on the planet. So this match up between Japan’s blisteringly-quick-off-the-mark all-wheel drive GT-R is a break from the norm.
Both cars are evenly matched with around 480 kW and 880 Nm of torque, which makes for an entertaining race.
