Video: Engine Development Of The 2014 Porsche LMP1
Little is known about the actual engine that will power the 2014 Porsche LMP1-Class endurance racer, and even though the company has released this video showing how thorough their testing and development is, we still don’t know the basics, such as whether it will be a turbo’d 4-cylinder or anything else.
We do know that the new Porsche endurance racer will enter the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship, which includes the the 24-Hours of Le Mans, and that Porsche will certainly be looking to eclipse current champions Audi. The driver line-up has already been announced as: Mark Webber, Timo Bernhardt, Romain Dumas and Neel Jani.
