You may well ask what the point of the new Porsche 911 Targa 4 is, when the 911 Cabriolet offers the full open-top driving experience and the standard 911 coupe is the more precise driving tool, but that would be missing the point.
The Porsche 911 Targa is a throwback to the 60s original and brings a stylish addition to the current 911 range, while also showing off a rather sophisticated folding roof mechanism. Pointless? In some respects quite possibly, but not when it comes to style.
