Video: Audi S1 Quattro Supermini

Audi S1 Quattro

The Audi S1 Quattro is now the most powerful Audi A1 available. Powered by the company’s 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the S1 Quattro has 170 kW and 370 Nm of torque available. These are big figures for a small car and the results speak for themselves, with the 0 – 100 km/h sprint being over in 5.8 seconds and top speed limited to 250 km/h.

The S1 Quattro has also been given aggressive new front and rear bumpers, with quad-exhaust pipes and a newly designed rear spoiler. The more angular LED headlights are a feature that will be rolled out to the entire A1 range towards the middle of the year.

Hint: Recognise the road in the video? We did. It’s the spectacular piece of tarmac known as Clarence Drive, which connects Gordon’s Bay and Rooi-Els in the Western Cape.
