Polestar Racing is the official Volvo factory racing team, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and together the two companies will go V8 Supercar racing as of the Clipsal 500 on March 1st.
The engine powering the Volvo Polestar S60 V8 Supercar has a capacity of 5.0-litres, is naturally aspirated and produces 478 kW (or 650 hp). Despite the lack of force-fed induction, the V8 still musters up a heavy-hitting 660 Nm of torque.
