Video: Felino CB7 – It’s A Canadian Supercar Eh

Felino CB7

Unveiled at the Montreal Auto Show in January, the Felino CB7 is a supercar designed with a bias toward race track use. Felino is the brainchild of Canadian racing driver Antoine Bessette and following 4 years of development, the CB7 is the first vehicle to be produced by the manufacturer.

The Felino CB7 is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine sourced from GM, which delivers 390 kW and 660 Nm to the rear wheels. The car can be had with a 6-speed manual or sequential transmission, features a carbon fibre body and tips the scales at 1 134 kg. No official performance numbers are available, but a 0 – 100 km/h sprint time of 3.5 seconds wouldn’t be surprising.

As for the styling? Well, it’s a bit odd in our opinion. The front is reminiscent of the Audi R8, with its sharp LED headlights and deep air intakes, while the rear looks a bit sad and saggy – like something Morgan might have reversed out of their factory.
