Talk of the Bugatti Veyron has waned somewhat with the arrival of the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1 hypercars, but it remains the world’s fastest production car and certainly one of the most expensive. And even though it has been around for some time now, the Veyron’s design and engineering remain no less appreciable as when the car first entered production in 2005.

The Grand Sport Vitesse is the world’s fastest convertible at 408 km/h and in this video which is far too short in our opinion, racing car driver David Green ‘idles’ along a fantastic ribbon of tarmac and conveys a sense of the car’s sheer class.
