Takata, the company responsible for the airbag fiasco, released a statement, “relevant combination of insufficient gluing of the leather on the driver’s side airbag cover and the possible rotated installation of the driver’s airbag cushion in the airbag module.” Does that also sound like poor workmanship to you? Ferrari owners in North America will be contacted about the fault during July 2015 but we’d suggest any owners of the models listed above contact their dealerships to ensure they are not affected.
