New limited production Pagani Cinque Roadster takes advantage of the incredibly light carbon-titanium fibre body used in the previous Cinque to keep weight down at only 1 210 kg, that’s exactly the same as the Coupe.
In fact almost everything in the Roadster is the same as the Coupe. It’s got the same 498 kW AMG engine, same ceramic-coated titanium exhaust system, same magnesium/aluminium wheels and the same magnesium/titanium suspension. The only real differences are a re-designed chassis to compensate for lost rigidity and a storage space for the roof under the bonnet.
Pagani offers a zero to 100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds and a zero to 200 km/h time of 9.6 seconds, again exactly the same as the coupe. No top speed was offered but it’s a good bet that it’ll be about 347 km/h (I think you know why by now).
Produced in a limited run of five, the Cinque Roadster will set you back about £1.1 million before taxes… if you can get your hands on one.
