999Motorsport Unveils Their Trackday Special

Thailand’s 999Motorsports has unveiled their new ‘Supersport’.

Designed to be the ultimate track-day toy, the car has a tubular chassis, a carbon fibre and fibreglass composite body that rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, the cabin is relatively sparse but features a carbon fibre dashboard, an LCD instrument cluster and racing seats with a six-point harness.

Motivation comes from a mid-mounted, turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 224 kW and 350 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed sequential transmission and a limited slip differential.

The company declined to release performance figures, but the car only weighs 950 kg so we suspect it won’t hang about.
