Abt Sportsline Plans 2012 Audi AS3

Wasting no time after its Geneva unveiling last week, Volkswagen/Audi tuning specialists Abt Sportsline, have already released these renderings of their AS3 tuning package for the new Audi A3.

An ECU upgrade takes power from 125 kW to 147 kW for the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel, while the 2.0-litre TFSI receives a more substantial boost in power from 147 kW to 184 kW. Also included in the Abt Sportsline AS3 package will be a stiffer and slightly lower, coil-over suspension and Abt brake kit with 345 mm discs.

Abt will of course give the AS3 the bark to match its new found bite, by adding a front spoiler, grille and side skirts as well as a rear spoiler, rear skirt insert and quad exhaust pipes. Lastly, the DR light alloy wheels are available in 18- and 19-inches.
