The Porsche 911 Turbo S is one of the world’s fastest production cars with a top speed of 318 km/h and a 0 – 100 km/h sprint of 3.1 seconds. In contrast, a British Formula 4 single-seater racing car will top out at roughly 227 km/h and has a slightly quicker 0 – 100 km/h sprint time of 2.9 seconds. This battle is not one of outright speed or acceleration, however, but rather a demonstration of horsepower and all-wheel drive versus aerodynamics and a high power-to-weight ratio.
