R.S. 300 Trophy boasts exclusive side panel Trophy insignia, a distinctive Sport front bumper with F1 blade, a specific Rear Diffuser, an intelligent central exhaust pipe, and unique Jerez Triple Tone 19” wheels. These barely conceal the Red Brembo brake calipers which have been uprated to cope with the extra power and grip.
Performance
Renault R S Trophy comes with the same 4-cylinder 1.8 l turbo engine but this time it pushes out 400nm and 221kw. With the automatic EDC getting an extra 20nm of torque.
The braking system uses BI material brakes in the front that are 1.8kg lighter than its predecessor. The new RS Trophy is also fitted with Renault 4-wheel-steering which has proven to make the car exceptionally agile at slower corner speeds, and predictable and balanced at higher speeds. Trophy comes with Renaults “Cup Chassis”, stiffer suspension and a Torsen mechanical limited-slip differential. The new RS Megane also comes with the new intelligent exhaust system that allows you to control and adjust the sound and burble of the car.
Interior
Inside the new RS Trophy, the hard shell sports seats come as standard. The 7-inch R link 2 Infotainment system not only keeps drivers and passengers entertained but also allows you see the performance telemetry on for the odd foray at the track.
With just 7 units for sale, it certainly does make for an exclusive package. Renault is aware that their sales come from models such as Duster and Kwid. This Halo model is something Renault owners can all get excited for. Even if only 7 of them get to actually enjoy it in the flesh.
