Bugatti can’t keep up with Venom GT Spyder

Top speed records are the preserve of Bugatti, or so we’ve come to believe. Now there’s a new king of the runway and it’s powered by a 7.0-litre V8 peaking at 1082kW and 1743Nm. The Hennessey Venom GT Spyder with a recorded top speed of 426km/h is officially the fastest convertible in the world, pipping Bugatti’s Veyron Sport Sport Vitesse by 18km/h.
