Porsche SA announces 2017 Panamera Executive

Porsche has extended the model line-up of its Panamera which is set to arrive in South Africa early 2017.

Arguably the most sophisticated Porsche ever produced, new Panamera boasts a suite of driver aids and media integration to go with those massively improved looks and renowned laser-guided handling.

Porsche has announced a litany of updated models designed to cater to different market segments within the range.

First up on the list is a new 243 kW V6 turbo petrol model which will be offered in a rear wheel and all-wheel drive setup, along with an “Executive” extended wheelbase model. The V6 turbo engine packs a 15kW increase in power from the previous Panamera, which allows it to perform more efficiently and economically. According to Porsche, the new engine has been fine-tuned to a reduced consumption by up to 1.0 l/100 km.

Next up are the Panamera and Panamera Executive models which feature an increase of 150 millimetres to the wheelbase, accentuating the lines and interior space. The chauffeur-targeted models will be available in an all-wheel drive setup on the 243kW Panamera 4 Executive, the 324kW Panamera 4S Executive and the fire-breathing 404kW Panamera Turbo Executive.

As we move higher up the model range, the Panamera Executive 4S and Panamera Executive Turbo will be available with more features, such as rear-axle steering and soft-close doors. The ground-ripping Turbo model is equipped with quad-zone climate control, LED headlights, including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), and ambient lighting as standard.
