Latest Abarth 595 range includes potent Competizione

Following the recent launch of the 124 Spider, the new Abarth 595 is now available in South Africa effective immediately. The three variants of the 595 (available as a hard tops or cabriolets) all make use of Fiat’s 1.4 T-Jet engine with varying power outputs.

First in line is the standard version, producing 106 kW of power and 206Nm of torque. The Fiat Abarth 595 Turismo is the next step up in the range, producing 121kW and 230Nm of torque, while the range topping 595 Competizione produces 132kW and 250Nm of torque which will see you to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds.  A performance pack option is available for the Competizione which includes a mechanical limited-slip differential, 17” alloy wheels and a 5-speed manual transmission.

Customers will be able to choose from seven different trim levels, featuring fabric, leather and alcantacra (exclusively for the Competizione). Across all models you’ll find a 7” digital display, air-conditioning (climate control on the Turismo and Competizione), electric windows, central locking, and hands free Bluetooth integration. 15 different paint shades are available as well as bi-colour schemes and optional mirror covers, bumper inserts and decal sets.

All models include 5 airbags, ABS and tyre pressure  monitors amongst other driver aids and come with a 3 year / 100,000 km warranty and maintenance plan.
