WATCH: We take Land Rovers Discovery on an African adventure
Land Rover has recently launched its new Discovery. Boasting 480kg less weight than the previous iteration the UK based company was keen to prove that the new one is not only lighter but more refined, more comfortable and at the very least as capable as its pedigreed predecessors.
2400 litres of rear space is available when all the rear seats are fully folded.
Our journey took us to the far reaches of South Africa, and up some treacherous winding mountain roads. We even went off-roading with 480kg in tow. As always, the new Discovery has evolved, and somehow managed, with the help of technology, to stay ahead of the 4×4 game whilst simultaniously being a more pleasent place to be. My pick was the torque diesel with the extra low down grunt that aided on and off road driving.
