Navara 4×2 Double Cab now on sale

Nissan SA has expanded its Navara range with a 4×2 Double Cab model. The model features new technology, a more refined ride and a spacious interior.

The interior of the new Navara is spacious thanks to its tilted rear-seats and impressive dimensions. It’s also packed with nifty technology, like the Around View Monitor that uses cameras around the bakkie to give the driver a view of their surroundings. There’s also a lot more insulation, reducing engine noise and vibrations from the road. The rear seats are tilted to free up more leg-room for passengers and there is also dedicated rear air-vents and an electrically operated rear cabin window.

The infotainment system comes standard with USB/Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation, which uses 3D mapping and live traffic updates to simplify the daily commute. A multi-function steering wheel grants control to these features.

Other standard kit includes automatic LED headlights, dual-zone air conditioning, cruise control, three 12V sockets in the cabin, an automatic dimming rear view mirror and 7 airbags. Buyers also have the option to spec their Navara’s with a wide variety of Nissan Approved accessories to suit their individual lifestyle needs.

The Navara is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.3-litre engine which produces 140kW of power, accompanied by 450Nm of torque. Gearbox options are limited to either a six-speed manual ‘box or a seven-speed automatic transmission, which also features a manual shifting mode.
