In celebration of Alfa Romeo’s centenary year, the Italian company has announced the availability of a commemorative version of the Alfa Romeo GT 3.2, aptly named the GT Limited Edition.

Just 30 of these Bertone-designed beauties are destined for South Africa, with each one wearing a unique number to mark its individuality. A number of highlights set the car apart from the standard GT model, these include a new 5-spoke 18-inch alloy wheel design; red brake calipers; a satin metallic finish on the side mirrors, door handles and front grille; red stitching on the leather covered sports seats; aluminium sports pedals and instrument cluster.

Power output from the 3.2-litre V6 engine remains unchanged, at 176 kW. The Quadcam V6 is capable of propelling the GT from 0 – 100 km/h in just 6,7 seconds and on to a top speed of 243 km/h. Alfa Romeo claim a combined fuel consumption figure of 12,4 l/100km.

Despite the additional equipment and its limited edition status, the GT’s price remains unchanged at R395 100, or R410 063 including the new CO2 emissions tax that comes into effect today, September 1. As with the rest of the GT range, the new Alfa Romeo GT Limited Edition comes with a 3-year/ 60 000km maintenance plan and features service intervals of 20 000 km.
