Shell rewards five lucky customers with new BMW
For five lucky Shell customers, Friday the 26th February was the day they parked a new BMW 3 Series in their garage, just for sms’ing the word BMW followed by their name and other simple steps.
The nationwide competition which ran from 7th of December until 17th January saw winners from Johannesburg, Polokwane, Springs and Rustenburg come and collect their brand new BMW from Shell Bryanston Service Station, on William Nicol Drive in Johannesburg.
“For Shell, this was more than just a competition, it was also about making a difference in the lives of people who visit Shell service stations. We are proud to have made an impact that goes beyond the ordinary retail experience in the lives of all the winners” said Shell South Africa’s Cluster Fuels Marketing Manager Frans Maluleke.
This is what each winner had to say about their life changing moment, many of whom had never won anything in their life before.
Nabeel Omar: “My mom was the first person I told when I got the call that I had won. We’ve never been more excited, more especially because a BMW is just what we wanted”.
Nosihle Mbolekwa: “Winning the competition has made my life a lot simpler. I can now sell my old car to buy a house. My birthday is coming up soon so this also comes to me as an early birthday gift. Entering this competition has really changed my life”.
Pieter Hanekom: “I would like to thank Shell for making my Christmas even more special.”
Mandla Kubheka: “This was a great shock; from a pen to a BMW? I really could not believe it. I’m definitely entering more competitions this year.”
Daniel Ramabula: “I thought it was a scam. I did some research and saw it on the Shell South Africa website. When I found it was legit, I went ahead and entered. So when I received the call that I had won I couldn’t believe it because I was very sceptical of entering”.
