Orders pour in as Bentley confirms Bentayga price
The fastest, most powerful SUV ever unleashed upon the world has just arrived in South Africa and is headed to Bentley’s new premises located on the corner of Corlett Drive and Melrose Boulevard.
Orders for the highly exclusive Bentley Bentayga are exceeding all predictions. Bentayga has a starting price of R3.987 000 but a litany of personalised options, specifically from Mulliner, will ensure that figure grows substantially.
Handcrafted in Crewe, each Bentley Bentayga requires 130 hours of meticulous assembly. Sourcing hide from ideal climates guarantees the finest leather to compliment bespoke veneers and milled aluminium of the highest standard.
Driving the four wheels is Bentley’s equally prestigious 6.0-litre W12. A soothing 447kW and 900Nm turns this motoring goliath into the engaging dynamics already established by models like the Continental GT. Acceleration to 100km/h needs 4.1 seconds and that strong surge carries the Bentayga to a top speed of 301km/h.
