Following our review of the BMW X6 xDrive50i M Sport earlier this week, we think Kahn Design’s wide-body kit for the Sports Activity Coupé is on the money in terms of matching the car’s character. Those who buy the X6 are likely to have fallen in love with it’s macho appeal, but for the megalomaniacs among us, Kahn have surely produced a satisfying chariot.
The Kahn Design BMW X6 Wide-Track Edition wears a set of Kahn’s 22-inch RS-XF alloy wheels, extended wheels arches, flared side skirts and a massive single-piece front bumper with voluminous air intakes, as well as a new ventilated bonnet.
The interior is typical Kahn Design, which means they’ll do anything the owner desires, but to start off, they’ve covered the seats in quilted and perforated leather in contrasting shades of black and carbon. The glove box and dashboard have been trimmed in alcantara, as has the M Sport steering wheel. Finally, the instrument cluster has also been given an update, with silver and red backgrounds for the speedo and tacho respectively.
Kahn’s X6 Wide-Track edition is purely cosmetic and doesn’t include any performance upgrades. The package is available for any BMW X6 model and can be retrofitted too.
