The Mitsubishi Outlander is all-new for 2012 and has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
An example of the first step away from Evo styling, the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander has a rounded front fascia, a slender grille and wraparound taillights.
The interior has been upgraded with soft-touch dashboard trim and a black instrument panel. A third row of seats will again be available, making this a seven-seat people crossover. A power-operated tailgate will also make loading the boot easier when your hands are full with groceries and the like.
The new Mitsubishi Outlander will be launched in Europe towards the middle of the year, when it will be offered with two different engines. The 2.0-litre MIVEC petrol produces 110 kW and 195 Nm of torque, while the 2.2-litre diesel develops 110 kW and 380 Nm of torque. Mitsubishi have plans to introduce a plug-in hybrid variant in future.
